The scutellar sulcus is narrow; scutellum small and slightly convex, coarsely punctated, smooth in middle. The propodeum roughly reticulate-rugose [Zh1]. Mesoscutum in front of scutellum with coarse longitudinal rugae [T13].

legs

shapeThe hind femora usually 3.5-4 times as long as wide, rarely three times as wide [T13, key].

colorMost of the legs are brown. Hind femora black [T16, key]. Most of the legs [?] are black; the tibial end half [?] is dark brown [Zh1]. The hind tibia are dark brown, with a yellowish-red band, completely dark-colored in the Far East [T13].

wings

shapeThe anterior margin of the radial cell is equal to the length of the pterostigma [T13, key].

colorThe wings are markedly darkened, the pterostigma and usually the tegulae are brown [T16, key]. The wings are translucent; the pterostigma and most of the veins are dark brown, and the basal veins are yellowish brown [Zh1]. Wings are light or slightly darkened. Tegulae black or brown, wings more or less darkened, mostly with brown veins [T13, key]

metasoma

shapeVentral cavity of metasoma is 0.8 of metasoma length [T16]. Metasoma 2–3 times longer than its height in apical third [T16, key]. Carapace in lateral view somewhat less bent, its hind half somewhat higher, i.e. 2.3 times as long as high posteriorly (fig. 2) [P10]. Apex of carapace incurved, length of ventral opening distinctly shorter than length of metasoma [Zh1]. Metasoma oval in dorsal view, length more than 1.7 times width medially [Zh1, key]. Metasoma 1.6-1.8 times as long as wide [T13, key]. Ventral opening 0.8 times as long as metasoma [T4].

sculptureMetasoma along its entire length with non-coarse longitudinal rugae [T16]. Metasoma with rough reticular rugae [Zh1]. Metasoma with mild longitudinal rugae [T4].
