body
shape5-8 mm [T16][Ay1][T4]. 6 - 8 mm [Te1]. 4.5 - 6.0 mm [H2].
colorBody completely black, rough, small punctures [F2]
head
shapeHead noticeably broadened behind eyes[T16][T4]. With not more than 5 weak transverse rugae on vertex behind ocelli [Ay1][T4]. The head is transverse, roundly narrowed posteriorly. The face is twice as wide as the height; genae equal to 1/2 of the longitudinal diameter of the eye; temples equal to the width of the eye. The ocelli are small, the distance between them and the eyes is 3-4 times the diameter of an ocellus [Te1].
sculptureThe head is, except for the clypeus, roughly rugose. The clypeus is finely punctated, shiny; Temples and posterior margin of vertex rugose-striated [Te].

antenna
shape ♀Antennae 24–27 segmented [Ay2]. Antennae equal to the length of the head and mesosoma, filiform, not compressed behind the middle, 24-27-segmented [Te1]. Atennae 24-27-segmented, thickened in the middle [T16]. 24 segments [Zh1].
shape ♂♂: Antenna as long as head + mesosoma + 0.5 carapace, with 24 segments. 3rd segment 3x as long as broad and penultimate 3-4 segments cubic. Antennae 24 - 27- segmented, thickened in middle [T4]. Antennae bristle-shaped, 30-segmented [Te1]. 27-30 segments [S2, scaber].
color
mesosoma
shapePropodeum with 2 teeth on the sides, with a closed field at the base [Te1]. Front edge of mesosoma [prepectal carina] with protruding lamella [H2].
sculptureScutellum punctated all around [N]. The entire mesosoma and propodeum are coarsely reticulate-rugose [Te1]. Scutellum mostly matt, striated or rugose [H2].
color
legs
shapeHind tibial spurs equal to 0.5 metatarsus length [Te1].
sculptureHind coxae rugose dorsally [Te1].
colorHind femora entirely black or only at apex reddish [T4][N][T16]. Tibiae pale brownish-yellow, hind tarsi dark with lighter base [N]. ♀: Legs black, fore and middle tibiae entirely and the very apex of all femora are reddish; hind tibia, except for apex, and base of hind tarsus yellowish. ♂: Hind tibiae yellowish [Te1]. Femora black [H2]. ♀ Black femora, shiny, extreme top of the fore and mid femur anteriorly reddish. Tibiae pale brownish-yellow, mid tibiae always darker at the tip, most often broadly blackish with pale base; Hind tarsi blackish with pale base. ♂ apex of mid and hind tibiae always more broadly black [M2, scaber].
wings
shapeVein r is equal to 3-SR and r-m; SR1 slightly curved, three times as long as 3-SR. 1-R1 equal to length of pterostigma. 1-CU1 = 0.5 times 2-CU1 [Te1].
colorWings dark transparent, stigma dark [N]. The wings are light, smoky behind the pterostigma; pterostigma and costal vein black; veins at base of fore wing yellow [Te1]. Parastigma and C+SC+R yellow [S4, scaber].
metasoma
shapeMetasoma 2-3 times as long as high in apical third, posteriorly curved forward ventrally, in apex uniformly rounded [Ay1]. Metasoma, slightly narrowed ventrally, at apex with longitudinal groove (Fig. 11) [Ay1][T4]. Posteriorly curved forward ventrally for not less than 1/5 to 1/6 of its length, 2–3 longer than high in apical third. Metasoma on lower side at apex noticeably compressed [Ay2]. ♀ Metasoma slightly longer than mesosoma, oval, slightly laterally compressed at apex and with a small notch on the underside. ♂ metasoma rounded at apex [Te1]. Metasoma oblong oval, a little narrowed towards the base. Basal carinae absent or almost absent [M2, scaber].
sculptureLongitudinal rugae are clearly visible in basal half of metasoma [Te1]. Metasoma reticulate rugose, with little elongated cells [M2, scaber].
color ♂ completely black [N][Te1]. ♂ sometimes with small spots [WA, see photo]. ♀ With large yellowish spots at base [T4][Ay2]. ♀ At base with clear yellow spots [Te1]. ♀ with two white spots, ♂ completely black [H2].
