Length of maxillary palp 0.6 times height of head; hypostomal carina remains removed from occipital carina; eye in dorsal view 1.2 times temple (fig. 12); temple slightly narrowed posteriorly (fig.1); POL : Ø ocellus : OOL = 9:2:8; frons, vertex and clypeus rather flat (fig. 12); face flat; length of malar space equal to basal width of mandible [A1]. Face almost twice as wide as high, with short longitudinal carina under antennae base; temples slightly more than the width of the eye; malar space half as long as longitudinal eye diameter. The ocelli are small; OOL is 3-4 times the OD [Te1].
sculptureFrons and vertex very coarsely rugose, face very coarsely reticulate and clypeus finely punctate. Ventral half of temple very coarsely rugose. Eye densely setose [A1]. Vertex with coarse transverse rugae behind ocelli [Ay1]. Temple with rough reticular rugae, Vertex with 5-6 rough transverse rugae. Face very roughly reticulate [Zh1]. Base of the clypeus is densely covered with white hair, the middle part is obviously raised, with very fine engraved spots, smooth and slightly shiny; the anterior edge is truncated [Zh1]. Head roughly rugose; temples and posterior margin of vertex rugose-striated, clypeus gently punctate, shining [Te1].

antenna
shape ♀♀ with 22–25 segments, third segment 2.8-3.0 times as long as broad apically [Ay1]. Antenna distinctly widened medially (fig.1), ventro-apically with specialized sensory areas (depressed in dried specimen); antennal segments 25, length of 3rd segment 1.1 times 4th segment, length of 3rd and 4th segment 3.0 and 2.6 times their width, respectively, 16th segment quadrate (fig. 6), penultimate segment 1.5 times its width [A1]. ♀ antennae half as long as body, with ~24 segments [W]. Antennae with 21 segments, obviously thickened beyond the middle [Zh1]. 24-25 segments [H]. Antennae equal to the length of the head and mesosoma, 24-25-segments, compressed behind the middle [Te1]. Antenna with about 25 segments, thickened behind the middle Length of segments in thickened part less than width [T13].

Propodeum in the middle with a closed cell, on the sides with short teeth [Te1].
sculptureSide of pronotum coarsely reticulate, but ventrally more punctate and antero-ventrally smooth (fig.1); Lateral lobes of mesoscutum medially punctate and laterally reticulate (fig.13). Pleural sulcus widely crenulate. Meso- and metapleuron completely coarsely reticulate-rugose; Scutellum smooth, except for the crenulate margin, medio-posteriorly narrowly rugulose; propodeum coarsely reticulate. Propodeum coarsely reticulate, its posterior part somewhat longer than the antero-dorsal part; propodeal spiracle small, round; propodeal tubercle large, rather acute (fig. 3).Notauli not impressed, but its area coarsely reticulate; middle lobe similar but with an additional medio-longitudinal coarsely crenulate band; scutellar sulcus deep, with 6 carinae [A1]. Tarsal claws slender, finely pectinate basally, with no lobe (fig. 10); length of femur, tibia, and basitarsus of hind leg 3.1, 5.2, 6.0 times their width, respectively; length of hind tibial spurs 0.5 and 0.6 times hind basitarsus; ventral row of setae at tarsi not distinctly visible at 80 x [A1]. Hind tibia spurs equal to 1/2 of the first tarsus segment [Te1].

colorLegs reddish [F1]. Coxae black. Femora (except for the black bases), and tibiae (but apex of hind tibia slightly infuscated), reddish. Basitarsi largely, whitish-yellow; rest of tarsi (including apices of basitarsi), (dark) brown; [A1]. Hind femur brownish-red [FTR]. Legs are red; coxae, trochanters, base of the femur, apex of the hind tibia and their tarsi, except for the 1st segment, black [Te1].

Hind wing: cu-a long, slightly reclivous; marginal cell subparallel-sided apically (fig. 2). [A1]. Vein r of fore wing nearly linear with 3-SR (Fig. 22) [E1]. Vein r equal to 3-SR and r-m. SR1 slightly curved, three times as long as 3-SR. 1-R1 as long as pterostigma [Te1].
colorWings transparent, parastigma yellowish [F1]. Tegula blackish brown [Ay1]. Veins light brown [D]. Vein 1-M of fore wing dark brown [E1]. Pterostigma and wing veins and tegulae, dark brown, but 1M, M+CU1, 1+2A, and 1A of fore wing yellowish. Wing membrane (rather) evenly light brown, only basally less distinct; below pterostigma similarly darkened as apical quarter of fore wing [A1]. The wings are light, slightly smoky behind the middle; the stigma is black; veins at base of fore wing yellow [Te1].
metasoma
shapeMetasoma oblong [F1]. Carapace in dorsal view (Fig. 16) belly (♂♀); in lateral view less rounded posteriorly (♂♀) (Fig. 17, see arrow); in ventral view somewhat less incurved posteriorly (♂♀) (Fig. 18). Carapace of male similar to that of female [P2]. Metasoma short, thick [D]. Length of carapace 1.6 times its maximum width, carapace robust (fig.14), medially lower than subapically (fig.1), apically obtuse and closed; ventro-apical edge of carapace broadly impressed (fig. 8) [A1]. Apex evenly rounded below, at most, slightly narrowed downward, without longitudinal groove [T13]. The metasoma is strongly thickened apically in lateral view, the length is 1.9 times the maximum height [Zh1].♀ Metasoma is slightly longer than the mesosoma, oval, rounded at the apex. ♂ metasoma is equal to the length of the head and mesosoma, cylindrical [Te1]. Apex metasoma evenly rounded below, at most, slightly narrowed downward, without longitudinal groove [T13]. In male, at most 2 times as long as wide; in female still shorter. posteriorly very distinctly curved on lower side [T4].
sculptureAnteriorly areolate-rugose [P2]. Basal half of surface coarsely longitudinally rugose (fig.14), apically less pronounced, but completely sculptured apico-laterally (fig. 1); dorsal carinae distinct in basal 1/7 of carapace [A1].
colorTwo basal large rounded yellow spots [F1][Te1]. Pair of basal patches near base of carapace whitish-yellow [A1][W][E1], sometimes very small [W], usually more or less quadrate [E1][FTR]. ♂ completely black [Te1]. Metasoma, except for yellow basal maculae, sometimes more or less light-colored, reddish (♂ is usually completely black) [T13].
