synonyms
body
shape6 mm [Fa].
colorRed-brown [Fa].
head
shapeHead transverse, almost wider than the mesosoma, rounded and narrowed behind the eyes, occiput indented in the shape of a circular arc and sharply edged. Eyes slightly protruding, long-oval, not bordered on the inside, especially hairy on the edges.Temples the width of the eyes, slightly narrower at the top, sharply edged. Malar space 1/2 eye length. Clypeus rounded, truncated in front. Forehead barely indented behind the antennae, with a sharp longitudinal ridge between the antennae [Fa].
sculptureFace rather coarsely transversely rugose, dull. Clypeus almost smooth. Otherwise the head is rather coarsely reticular-rugose [Fa].
colorRed-brown, eyes, mandible tips and labial palps brown-black [Fa].
antenna
shape ♀Antennae 24-segmented, slightly shorter than 1/2 body, bristly, not thickened in the middle. Scapus bulbous-cylindrical, about twice as long as thick. last segments short, set off almost like a string of pearls, rather thin [Fa].
shape ♂
colorAntennae brown-black, scapus, 3rd and 4th antennal segment red-brown [Fa].
mesosoma
shapePronotum weakly neck-like. The middle lobe of the mesonotum is fairly broadly longitudinal indented, with a sharp keel in this depression at the base center. The scutellum is triangular in outline, somewhat convex. Metanotum distinct as a crenulated depression, but without a distinct postscutellum. Propodeum on the side with strong teeth with a weak transverse carina. Acetabulum high and sharply edged. [Fa].
sculptureMesosoma rather coarsely reticulate, network-like, almost dull. Pronotum with a slightly finer sculpture. The wrinkles of the central lobe of the mesonotum are arranged in a fairly regular form in front of the prrescutellar pit as strong longitudinal rugae. Notauli slightly depressed, but recognizable, so that the middle lobe appears somewhat protruding and again slightly bilobed. Prescutellar groove separated from the mesonotum by a fine transverse line, strongly crenulated. The scutellum is smooth in the middle, crenulated at the edges. Propodeum coarsely reticulate, rugose. Sternal parts rugose [Fa].
colorRed-brown [Fa].
legs
shapeLegs moderately strong, the middle slender. Hind coxae elongated. Spurs of the fore-tibia strongly curved, the opposite part of the metatarsus indented. Posterior tibial spurs 1/2 metarsus length [Fa].
sculptureHind coxae rugose [Fa].
colorLegs red-brown, tips of the hind tibiae and hind tarsi blackish, the hind legs hardly noticeably darker than those of the other legs [Fa].
wings
shapeFore wing with 3 submarginal cells. Sm1 and D1 cells fused to one another. Sm2 cell short, trapezoidal, the lower (basal) border vein slightly curved. Marginal cell short, ending roughly in the middle between the end of the pterostigma and the tip of the wing. Radius arises behind the middle of the lower edge of the stigma,SR1 is straight. cu-a strongly postfurcally, m-cu subinterstitial. In the hind wing, the radius is strongly curved, so that the marginal cell is bulged towards the base [Fa].
colorWings whitish hyaline at base, end half dark grayish brown clouded. Base of the marginal cell, inner third of cell Sm2 very light. Veins of the light part yellowish, the dark part brown. Vein r-m pale. Stigma black, parastigma yellow. Hind wing completely whitish-hyaline, only the end border is grayishly darkened [Fa].
metasoma
shapeThe metasoma is egg-shaped in outline. 1st tergite slightly indented in front, on the sides with weak keels that are lost in the wrinkles of the tergite, but are recognizable as marginal ridges of the basal impression. Lateral margins of the metasoma sharply edged. [Fa].
sculptureThe metasoma is longitudinally reticulate-rugose, slightly less regular and more finely sculptured towards the end [Fa].
colorThe base of the metasoma is red-brown with four angular whitish spots that occupy the front third of the metasoma and are lined with red-brown. This red-brown color gradually disappears into the dark brown-black of the rest of the metasoma. End half of the metasoma brown-black [Fa].
♀ ovipositorOvipositor hidden [Fa].
♂ apertureno aperture [Fa].
