colorGround colour of body black [P2]. Coarsely sculptured [T4].
head
shapeIn dorsal view (Fig. 1) transverse, 2x as broad as long, eye just longer than temple, latter rounded. Ocelli small, round, distance between fore and hind ocelli somewhat longer than diameter of an ocellus, POL:OD:OOL as 12:5:17. Eye in lateral view (Fig. 2) clearly 2x as high as wide, temple 0.2 wider than eye. Malar space 0.25 longer than basal width of mandible. Face 2x as wide as high, inner margin of eyes subparallel, i.e., indistinctly convering ventrally. Clypeus less wide than face, 1.7x as wide as high, distance between tentorial pits 1/3 longer than that between pit and lowest point of eye [P2]. The head is transverse, narrowed posteriorly. The temples are slightly widened [?] [Te1].
sculptureFace with more or less semicircular strio-rugosity, gena densely rugulose, clypeus punctate and interspaces smooth and shiny. Head above and temple strio-rugose (Fig. 1) [P2]. On vertex behind ocelli with more than 5 weak transverse rugae [T4].
colorPalpi brown [P2].
antenna
shape ♀At least 24 segments [Th]. About as long as head and mesosoma combined, with 22-23 joints. Third segment 2.5x as long as broad apically, further segments gradually shortening so that penultimate segment subcubic, i.e., hardly longer than broad [P2]. Antennae much shorter than body, segments of flagellum behind its middle not longer than their width [T16]. 22 segments [Te1][M2].
shape ♂26-32 segments [Th].
colorScape and pedicel black, flagellum blackish [P2].
mesosoma
shapeMesosoma in lateral view 1.38x as long as high. Notaulix hardly distinct. Propodeum with a pair of latero-median tubercules [P2]. Behind the fore coxae, the sides of the mesosoma are raised and almost bidentate. Propodeum with 2 teeth [Te1].
sculptureMesosoma areolate-rugose, mesonotum rugose and anteriorly rather rugulose, scutellum with rugae or almost smooth, mesosoma shiny to subshiny [P2].
color
legs
shapeHind femur 3-3.3x as long as broad medially; pair of spurs of hind tibia unequal in length, inner (or longer) spur 0.5 as long as basitarsus. Hind tarsus somewhat longer than hind tibia, hind basitarsus as long as tarsomeres 2-4 [P2].
sculpture
colorCoxae black, trochanters and hind femur blackish, otherwise legs reddish yellow, fore femur basally, proximal 2/3 of middle femur, hind tibia basally and distally blackish, tarsomeres 2-5 darkish [P2]. Fore tibia entirely and hind tibia reddish yellow in middle [Te1]. Fore tibiae entirely, hind tibiae in the middle brown-yellow [M2].
wings
shapeFore wing shorter than body. Pterostigma 2.35-2.66x as long as wide, issuing radial vein distally from its middle, R1 a bit longer than pterostigma; radial cell along metacarp a bit shorter than pterostigma, r and 3-SR either equal in length or r somewhat longer than 3-SR, SR1 almost straight and ending far before tip of wing [P2].
colorWings faintly brownish fumous, pterostigma opaque brown, veins light opaque brownish. Tegula black [P2].
metasoma
shapeCarapace in dorsal view (Fig. 21) 1.5-1.8x as long as broad medially, in lateral view (Fig. 22) 2.4-2.6x as long as high posteriorly; in ventral view apically not incurved, i.e., ventral opening of carapace as long as carapace itself [P2]. The metasoma is ovate, broadly rounded at apex and depressed at the apex from below [Te1].
sculptureCarapace anteriorly longitudinally strio-rugulose, posteriorly rugulose [P2]. Metasoma only at apex lacking distinct longitudinal rugae [T4]. Metasoma coarsely reticulate-wrinkled [Te1].
colorMetasoma entirely black [T4].
♀ ovipositorOvipositor sheath very short, concealed [P2].
